How Does TinyEYE Work For Parents?

TinyEYE’s Student Focused Model revolves around the needs of your child. TinyEYE works with school divisions as well as directly through parents. Once you have signed up your child for our services you will be set up with a user name and password protected account. This will connect you to all the software and tools you need to get started. All you need is access to a computer, webcam, and headset to connect with one of our certified SLPs. The therapist meets online with a team member (i.e. teacher, teaching assistant, speech language assistant, or parent) to provide regular support for your child’s program. The therapist coaches the team member to implement strategies to help your child feel successful and achieve the goals. Your child and his or her therapist will be able to hear and see each other on the computer screen. The SLP will assign learning games that target your child's communication disorder. These will be practiced with the therapist during session and can also be accessed in your child’s Virtual Backpack Program for continued practice at home.
